Port Of Call
Pieter van Vliet (aka Port of call) is Netherlands very own Justin Vernon. Somewhere in the forest of our lovely country lays a small cabin in which Van Vliet writes his songs. From one alone-in-the-forest-comparison to another, his music is less Bon Iver-y and more ’in to the wild-ish’. Build around an acoustic guitar and strong vocals and often dressed with some percussions, ukuleles, harmonicas and the other ram bam. With his voice as most powerful, screaming, whispering or just singing.
