Meindert Talma

In 1995 friends of Meindert Talma pressed some of his recordings on a single as a birthday gift. Unexpectedly Talma’s birthdaygift-record became successful and he became one of the local heroes in Gronings music scene. In the years following Talma developed into a very wayward artist as he also wrote 2 novels and a collection of poetry. His books are, just like his songs, very personal and also intertwined with his music. Talma sings in Dutch but is nevertheless also an interesting guest music wise for the international visitors.
