Carla Bozulich's Evangelista

In a career that spans three decades, Carla Bozulich (The Geraldine Fibbers, Ethyl Meatplow) has immersed herself within a great number of bands and projects. Perhaps none have been so sonically brave as avant-garde trio Evangelista, formed with composer Dominic Cramp and bass player Tara Barnes. Evangelista has no intent of sticking to the basic principles of songwriting with their brooding sound, shifting from meticulous, sparsely arranged spoken word segments to primal eruptions of noise.
