Darkwood

Fusing traditional themes and acoustic instruments with experimental soundscapes and samples, Darkwood’s music is full of paradoxes. Lyrically their songs switch between German and English. To other artists this might be a bit confusing, but Darkwood manages these disparities adeptly and turns it into something brimmed with depth and poignancy. Their neo-folk (or dark/apocalyptic folk, whichever you prefer) is seldom heard in a live setting, making this occasion all the more special.
