King Midas Sound

Kevin Martin, the workaholic behind The Bug, surprised friend and foe in 2009 with his latest project King Midas Sound. This time around, he worked together with poet Roger Robinson & Japanese artist Kiki Hitomi. His previous album Waiting For You had the dark and low dub sounds of London combined with Robinsons melancholic whispery voice. Hyperdub released a revised version of this record last year with a little help of artists like Flying Lotus, Gang Gang Dance and label boss Kode9.
