ThE CoLor oF ThE SuN

There are a lot of people that debate with each other about the color of the sun. Mostly people call it yellow or white, depending from where you look at it (Earth or space). ThE CoLor oF ThE SuN from the UK are a band that can start just such a debate: is it surf or pop rock or just as with the color of the sun it depends from where you look at it. Definitely inspired by the Beach Boys, and not by his dad’s Black Sabbath, front man Aron Ward creates original pop songs with strong surf influences. Loops and other electronic manners of ordering sound are used to create something that smells like a mix of shoegaze, surf, electro and pop.
