Grotty, liquid, dark, brutal and lush are all words used to describe the music of 25 year-old Alex Melia aka Reso. A contrasting set of adjectives hard to understand, until one listens to a few of his productions. A drummer at heart, natural groove patterns are engrained within his brain and surface on his digital programming and productions. Reso’s aural identity is a densely layered, high-octane tapestry, rich with musical texture and colour.
