JORGE BOEHRINGER (us, Core of the Coalman) is an electro-acoustic musician, composer, sound designer, curator and installation artist. The music he makes as Core of the Coalman is created from a combination of acoustic viola and electronic sources and has a free yet architectural feel, playing around with evolving patterns and structures. He has collaborated with members of D Yellow Swans, Grouper, and 16 Bitch Pile Up.
