Kennet Granholm is a PhD in Comparative Religion at Åbo Akademi University (Finland). His main research interests lie in contemporary religious change, popular culture, and Western esotericism and occultism, in particular the current of contemporary magic termed the Left-Hand Path. Before Wardruna plays he will talk about the birth of modern paganism during romanticism, the founding of modern pagan groups/organizations in the post-second world war period and the shift to paganism in black metal
