Leonie Ruissen

Born and raised in Oost-Souburg, Leonie Ruissen (1984) now lives and works in Breda. In 2006 she graduated from St.Joost, school of fine arts.
The medium in which she’ll work varies a lot, but her work is always about expressing her inner world of feelings and thoughts.
For this occasion she chooses poetry, singing and performing.
Leonie will present her fragile work with both strength and tenderness.

‘I strive for the complete absorption of the things around me.
My aim is to build a bridge between the world within myself and the world around me,
to make everything more beautiful.
To make everything that otherwise would only remain as fairytales, will become true.’
