Ferenc Kovacs

Ferenc Kovács is a violin and trumpet virtuoso from Budapest, Hungary whose range can swoop from raw to tender, fiery jazz to gipsy folk. Foremost a musician, Ferenc is also hunter, martial arts fighter and sculptor. He has played his way around the world with the Kálmán Balogh Gipsy Cimbalom band and A Hawk And A Hacksaw as part for the Hun Hangar Ensemble, after years playing Jazz and Contemporary Classical behind the Iron Curtain. This is the crazed and tender sound of a contemporary peasant.
