Once in an eternity an artist will come along who defies any explanation, breaks all boundaries, and destroys all preconceived notions as to what music is. In hip hop, no one even comes close to the man they call Sensational. The tripped-out flows, the broken beats, the lo-fi ambience all went largely unnoticed by the Puffy-worshipping masses. Without the help of a sequencer, using only a 4 or 8-track, a drum machine and a turntable, Sensational creates a true and original blend of hip hop, banishing the competition to the land of mediocrity.
