Incubate is the annual celebration of independent culture. Expect a diverse view on indie culture as a whole, including music, contemporary dance, film and visual arts. We bring more than 200 cutting edge artists in an intimate context to an international audience. Black metal next to free jazz. Street art next to academic dance.
When he was 11 years old he wrote a waltz for the New Years concert in Amsterdam. At age 12 he took composition lessons at the Sweelinck Conservatorium and afterwards he studied composition and electronics. For his 2006 multimedia performance ‘The Expected’ he was awarded with the ‘Proms in Paradiso Programma Prijs.’
His piece ‘Juggling/ Jong’ will be played by percussion player Bart de Vrees. With an introduction by Composers Club’s Bert Palinckx.
