Originally an all improvisational freeform band, the music of Los Siquicos Litoraleños  soon developed into an unclassifiable, highly original style, incorporating elements of cumbia, subtle noise, lo-fi tape manipulation, chamamé (the popular music of Corrientes) and a rich variety of non-rock rhythms. On stage, the members are cloaked in surreal gaucho costumes, whilst psychedelic images of cows, fractals and ufo´s provide a projected backdrop. Locals therefore lovingly dubbed this band as 'El Pink Floyd de los pobres' (a poor man's Pink Floyd).
