As one of the people behind the Skull Disco label, Shackleton's maverick take on big bass lines and complex beats doesn't fit into easy categories. As a result, support for his music comes from a wide range of radio stations, clubs, zines and fans. Whilst Shackleton's music tends towards the idiosyncratic and intricate percussion in preference to the big bass drop, his music is still geared towards the dance floor, which is exactly where you should be.
