Two years ago they toured with Baroness, and visited ZXZW for a grand demolition visit. Now Baroness has stepped on the commercial path, and Torche again follows. Hardly brutal, they now make metal for the masses, easy-listening heaviness. Thus Torche will reach a broad audience, and not undeserved altogether, for the sound of their latest album 'Meanderthal' is as accessible as it is enjoyable. Your last chance to see them on a small stage before they'll join stadium tours.
