ZXZW is the annual celebration of independent culture. Expect a diverse view on indie culture as a whole, including music, contemporary dance, film and visual arts. Citizen Journalism is an interactive installation. Visitors of the festival are invited to participate by using their cell phones to send festival pictures to the installation through blue tooth. These collected pictures are shown at random on a big screen, giving people the opportunity to share images with each other.

Besides that, the pictures are also printed on meters long rolls of paper, thus forming a real life 'timeline'. This will be hung outside V39, where people can add comments with markers and ballpoints. Finally, the timeline will be spread in the Tilburg innercity as an open, viewable report of the festival like a paper trail, a real time newspaper, on the ZXZW festival!
