Spawned from the small yet vital Norwegian underground "non-scene" boasting bands from Noxagt to Ultralyd to Darkthrone and Burzum, comes Haugesund’s finest noise rockers Årabrot. With their much anticipated
second album “Rep.Rep”, which received rave reviews in Norway’s top
newspapers, comes a volatile aural assault which doesn’t fall easily into categorization.

Having been twice produced by the maestro of sludge and noise,
Mr. Billy Anderson of Melvins, Neurosis, Sleep, Fantomas-fame, “Rep.Rep” gives insight into Årabrot’s vision of dissonance and depravity. It takes cues
from sources as eclectic as Captain Beefheart to Sunn0)) to Ministry, whilst
moving consistently along the trail of 2005‘s “Proposing a Pact with Jesus”--
the startling debut co-produced by the acclaimed Norwegian producer and Serena-Maneesh frontman Emil Nikolaisen.
