Phill Niblock

The hardest working minimalist on the planet. Phill Niblock is a photographer, film maker and composer of minimal music, three passions which have him traveling the world. In his performances Niblock plays his thick, loud drones of music in combination with multiple screenings of extracts from his series "Movement of People Working", an archive he has been building up since the early 70s.

Montreal video/multimedia artist Katherine Liberovskaya will join Phill Niblock for a special set. Liberovskaya has been working predominantly in experimental video since the late eighties. Over the years, she has produced many single-channel videos and video installation works, some of which have earned awards and mentions in Europe and North America. Her works have been presented at a wide variety of artistic venues and events around the world.
