Groningen is ‘Grunn Rock city.’ Well, that’s what people are shouting over there… If that's really true doesn’t really matter, but Grinding Halt does.  Set up on the remnants of the well-known hardcore bands Shikari and The Last Mile, Grinding Halt brings the world a dynamic mixture of emo, hardcore, the good-old punk and everything in between. The songs are short, hectical and powerful till the end.  Powerful guitars, rhythms and a maniacal stage performance. And the singer… Well, he sounds like a blown-up nipple pig, who, with the slaughterhouse in prospect, shouts out all the anger he’s got. And fuck! That sounds good!
